Diani beach stretches from the estuary of the Mwachema River in the north to Galu beach in the south.
Diani, being one of the Kenya coast's most popular destinations, has a massive range of accommodation, activities, restaurants, amenities and entertainment.
The beach itself is one of the coast's most beautiful. A wide, white sandy beach leads into a clear coral lagoon which is sheltered by the reef running parallel to the shore a few hundred yards out.
Diani has always been a popular destination for water-sports enthusiasts - and in more recent times - has become a mecca for kite-surfers.
The annual Diani Rules is a charity event in aid of Kwale District Eye Centre, and one of the main events in Diani's calender attracting hundreds of competitors and spectators Diani beach for a weekend of fun and games.
