Galu beach is situated just south of Diani beach. This area of the coast is less busy, and less built up than the more popular stretch along Diani beach, and this gives Galu a distinctly different character and charm. A less busy beach, with more indigenous coastal scrub, and fewer hotel resorts gives Galu a more relaxed, laid back feel.
It can be reached by following the main Diani road south, as the tarmac ends and a coral/dirt track continues for a few kilomteres to Galu.
